Define the product
Prepaid describes paying in advance. It can mean a short recurring bundle, a multi-month block or a balance used for individual charges. Compare the actual service rather than assuming all no-contract products have the same rules.
Mark two dates
Record the service validity date and the allowance reset date. These can describe different things. A balance remaining on screen does not necessarily prove the line will stay active indefinitely.
Automatic renewal
Check the payment source, renewal amount and how to stop future renewals. Turning off a payment instruction does not establish a refund entitlement. If you need the number, understand the retention and transfer sequence before letting service lapse.
Buying several months
Compare cash due immediately with the equivalent monthly amount. Confirm the renewal terms after any introductory period. If your coverage needs may change, consider the practical value of flexibility as well as the headline rate.
