Use the exact model
A familiar product name can include regional variations with different SIM support and radio capabilities. Check the model identifier against the carrier’s compatibility route. An imported handset may not support every service available on a local version.
Keep or replace
Ask whether the existing phone still meets your battery, storage, accessibility and software needs. A replacement handset may solve a hardware limitation but will not automatically solve a weak indoor signal or a congested network.
Paying over time
Write down the upfront amount, installment count, installment size and the conditions attached to credits. Compare a full device price with the full payment obligation. A credit that would arrive in a future month is not money already received.
Trade-ins
Record the accepted model, condition requirements and dispatch deadline. Keep photographs and delivery evidence. Finish your backup and account-transfer checks before erasing the old phone. Confirm who decides the final trade-in value and how a disagreement is handled.
